IRAQ

Although history may give a clearer interpretation of what brought about the war in Iraq, surfacing factors were the suspicion of untrusted nations having weapons of mass destruction, fear aroused by and retaliation for "9/11" the attack on New York, bringing a realization of the smallness of our world and our vulnerability. Other factors may or may not have a bearing on it, but it is too much in the present tense for unprejudiced appraisal.
